Full Job Description
The Director, Sales will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and articulate the company's value proposition to key stakeholders. This role will manage a team of sales professionals and collaborate across departments to achieve overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting a unified approach across the regional sales team.
  • Responsible for leading and managing a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, driving accountability, and aligning team efforts with overall business strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional territory plan to support business growth and market expansion.
  • Drive sales growth and maintain performance within the assigned territory, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Provide hands-on sales and technical support to direct reports across the region to ensure consistent messaging and success.
  • Plan and coordinate educational initiatives and training programs within the region to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to plan and execute regional meetings that align with company objectives.
  • Organize and deliver educational sessions for current and prospective customers.
  • Submit detailed monthly activity and call reports outlining customer interactions, competitive insights, and overall regional performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all direct reports within the region, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Conduct regular co-travel and field visits with direct reports to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement sales promotions that align with strategic goals.
  • Execute all assigned regional duties effectively and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
  • Work in close partnership with executive leadership to align regional strategies with overarching corporate goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience required, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and effectively managing sales territories.
  • Previous sales experience in the dental industry is preferred but not required
