Summary
As a member of the RNG Upstream Investment team, the Director, RNG Asset Management will serve as a key commercial and operational coordination resource for the company's upstream Renewable Natural Gas portfolio. The role will focus on financial performance, portfolio reporting, partner coordination, farm and counterparty relationship management, asset optimization, capital prioritization, and coordination of legal and contractual issues across operating and development-stage RNG projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
o Own a portfolio-level view of operating and financial performance across assigned RNG assets, including value-creation opportunities.
o Lead or support cross departmental recurring asset reviews other stakeholders to identify underperforming assets and improvement plans.
o Translate operating constraints, feedstock limitations, equipment issues, downtime events and partner-related problems into clear commercial recommendations and action plans.
o Serve as a primary commercial coordination point with JV partners, farm hosts, operators, vendors and other project counterparties, while ensuring appropriate executive escalation for major decisions.
o Coordinate recurring partner touchpoints and ensure follow-through on commercial, operational, and legal workstreams.
o Support business cases for capital projects, including expected production uplift, cost savings, payback, execution risk, partner approvals, and tracking of actual benefits after completion.
o Support coordination of business facts, commercial impacts, documentation, and escalation strategy for contractual matters, amendments, notices, counterparty issues, and other legal or commercial workstreams.
o Become conversant in material project agreements, including JV agreements, management services agreements, manure supply agreements, ground leases, O&M agreements, offtake arrangements, interconnection agreements, environmental credit arrangements, tax credit monetization documents and major vendor contracts.
o Prepare clear, concise updates for senior leadership, JV boards, internal asset reviews and other stakeholder meetings, including facts, business impact, options, and recommendations.
o Drive accountability without relying solely on direct reporting authority and promote a culture of ownership, transparency, fact-based decision making and continuous improvement across the RNG asset portfolio.
Travel will be required an estimated five (5) days per month or as necessary to project sites.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree, 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineering or Science degree preferred.
Preferred experience:
Renewable energy, RNG, biogas, infrastructure, asset management, project finance, operations, commercial management, strategy, engineering or related fields.
Complex asset portfolios with operational, financial, contractual, compliance and external stakeholder components.
Familiarity with RNG, dairy digesters, landfill gas, environmental credits, RINs, LCFS, 45Z / PTC, ITC monetization, project finance or JV governance.
Financial reporting, variance analysis, budget management, capital project evaluation and executive-level communication.
Partner, customer, vendor, operator, lender, farm or other external counterparty management.
