Full Job Description
Position Summary
The Director of Project Delivery & Design will provide strategic leadership to the Project Delivery & Design team. This role is responsible for ensuring all functions within the department align with Nexii's goals for client satisfaction, technical excellence, and operational efficiency. The Director will lead the development and implementation of processes that enhance project delivery, integrate design and engineering solutions, and ensure alignment with Nexii's principles. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, the incumbent will act as a senior leader, fostering inter-team and intra-team collaboration to achieve exceptional results for Nexii.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Project Delivery & Design department, ensuring alignment with Nexii's business goals.
  • Lead and manage the Product Engineering, Digital Design, Project Management, and Site Supervision teams, providing mentorship and support to optimize performance and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvements.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts and reporting
  • Develop team KPIs in alignment with Nexii's goals.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure the team can meet project demands effectively.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, efficiency and excellence across the team.
  • Ensure seamless integration of engineering, digital design, and installation solutions to meet client requirements, stakeholders needs and project deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain department-wide processes, standards, and workflows that enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide oversight on complex or high-profile projects, ensuring alignment with technical, operational, and client expectations.
  • Provide support to Project Delivery manager in monitoring project progress, addressing challenges and implementing solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing teams to align product development with market and client needs.
  • Be the senior point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality solutions.
  • Support the Sales team by providing technical expertise and ensuring design and engineering outputs align with client requirements.
  • Represent Nexii in industry events and forums to showcase the company's capabilities and innovations


Education, Knowledge and Experience
  • At least ten (10+) years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on leadership and project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems, materials, and sustainable construction practices.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, and project management professionals.
  • Understanding of Canadian and U.S. Building Codes and construction regulations.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • Familiarity with digital design tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Inventor) and BIM workflows is an asset.
  • P. Eng Certification is an asset.
