Full Job Description
General Description:
  • Lead program management for oncology drug development and product lifecycle management.
  • Partner with Team Lead to lead development of global product development strategies.
  • Establish clear processes for program team management and communication.
  • Drive strategic team decision-making and delivery of team goals and objectives.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and optimize team efficiency, quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with team to deliver on commitments to the organization and to patients.


Essential Functions of the job:
  • Plan and execute projects in accordance with the global asset development strategy.
  • Facilitate alignment with key functions and stakeholders and ensure communication across project team.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain integrated project plan(s) within the enterprise project system.
  • Provide visuals of project plans for use with teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure team understanding, alignment and achievement of key goals, milestones and deliverables.
  • Plan, track, and manage project milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
  • Facilitate team planning sessions: develop team charter, define project scope, and ensure global cross-functional alignment.
  • Implement good project and risk management practices.
  • Manage process for project budget oversight, planning and control.
  • Liaise with internal collaborators to deliver high quality work product, presentations, governance investments and updates etc.
  • Provide internal project management support to core and sub teams, as necessary.
  • Coordinate team meeting schedules, prepare agendas and minutes, track action items and progress reports according to project management best practices.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and leadership that are commensurate with experience and expertise such as independently providing alliance management for drug development partners, independently leading oversight steering committees.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 + years' experience in clinical and drug development in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

OR
  • Master's Degree or above with 7 + years' experience in clinical and drug development in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry


Computer Skills: Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook

Other Qualifications: PMP certification a plus

Salary Range: $178,700.00 - $238,700.00 annually

Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
