NVIDIA's Datacenter Networking Business is expanding quickly! We are looking for a Director-level Product Manager who has strong technical knowledge in optical interconnects, silicon photonics, and co-packaged optics (CPO). This role involves leading global product management and strategy for next-generation optical interconnect solutions. It is a senior leadership position with worldwide responsibility for crafting NVIDIA's networking portfolio.

In this product management leadership role, you will compose the long-term strategy and guide the lifecycle of advanced optical interconnect hardware and silicon platforms. You will work closely with architecture, ASIC, systems, software, and go-to-market teams globally. Positioned at the meeting of AI infrastructure, high-performance networking, and cloud-scale datacenter innovation. You will influence NVIDIA's next-generation networking technologies and contribute to developing the future of accelerated computing!

What you'll be doing:
  • Guide strategic direction and product vision for NVIDIA's Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) hardware and silicon platforms, managing product planning, implementation, lifecycle management, and technology transitions.
  • Define product requirements and roadmaps for next-generation optical interconnects, ASICs, systems, and platforms in partnership with engineering, architecture, and important ecosystem collaborators.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration among hardware, silicon, firmware, software, operations, and business groups to provide industry-leading networking solutions for AI and cloud datacenters.
  • Partner with strategic customers and hyperscalers to understand emerging requirements and translate them into differentiated networking products.
  • Present the product strategy to executive leadership, customers, and industry partners, guiding the progression of NVIDIA's datacenter networking portfolio.

What We Need to See:
  • BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of overall experience with 8+ years in silicon photonics development or technical support roles within the networking industry, with deep technical proficiency.
  • Deep knowledge of silicon photonics, process technologies and packaging, including modulator technologies, lasers, and the underlying silicon process technologies that power modern optical interconnects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data center hardware, rack-level construction, and physical infrastructure is required. This encompasses server, networking, power, cooling, and cabling elements that determine how AI and cloud fabrics are deployed extensively.
  • Experience leading product strategy development and delivery in complex global organizations as a senior IC (director-level scope) or people leader.
  • A strong blend of systems-level technical depth, business insight, and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates outstanding communication and confidence when sharing ideas at the executive level. Influences global teams without authority. Manages competing priorities effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd:
  • Engineering experience in silicon photonics, lasers, and CPO.
  • Hands-on exposure to silicon photonics, optical transceivers, and laser platforms.
  • Experience with product management, product marketing, customer interface and customer support.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling highly technical infrastructure products globally.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and solving complex networking challenges.
