ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director, Premium Client Services will be responsible for overseeing all services related to ticketing, premium ticketing, and suites for the Tampa Bay Rays' new stadium project. This individual will serve as a dedicated champion for client satisfaction, owning the full buyer journey from purchase through stadium opening. Responsibilities include managing contracts, processing payments in real time, and ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience throughout every stage of the client relationship. The Director will also proactively build relationships with clients and identify new revenue opportunities to support the organization's premium service goals.

ABOUT THE PROJECT/VENUE

The Tampa Bay Rays are developing a state-of-the-art ballpark at Hillsborough College in Tampa's Westshore district, targeting a 2029 opening. This public-private partnership anchors the Champions Quarter mixed-use district. With 11,500 premium seats designed to set new MLB benchmarks, Legends Global seeks exceptional leaders to drive this transformational project.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)
  • Lead the planning, development and activation of all service offerings including the creation of a service identity and pioneering a proactive service culture
  • Project manage key initiatives as needed to ensure coordination across revenue lines when dealing with external parties including third-party agencies, architects, hospitality, etc. to develop and streamline sales processes that improve sales efficiency. Key examples include the ongoing function of the sales center, marketing campaigns, website, brochure, etc
  • Key role in maintaining alignment between sales, marketing, business operations, finance, and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information. Key examples include monthly reporting, budget reconciliation and tracking.
  • Plan and execute key industry networking events to identify new business and create experiences for prospective clients
  • Attract, mentor, and manage a team of service minded individuals. Champion a positive culture through team building, professional development, and innovative techniques
  • Foster strong, collaborative working relationships with the Tampa Bay Rays organization and business partners


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of successful sales & service management experience (sports business a plus)
  • Skilled analyzing data, developing concise recommendations and presenting to executive leadership
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to develop strong working relationships with partners, teammates, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently
  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and desire to grow professionally
  • Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently
  • Ability to manage multiple task simultaneously, while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
  • Role requires regular on-site presence to support project launch, client partnership, team leadership, and venue-related activity.
  • Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules as business needs require.
  • Travel may be required for meetings, training, client engagement, industry events, and Legends Global business needs.
