Job DescriptionTo provide effective organization and direction of administrative and financial affairs. To manage staff and resources for Physician Outreach.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Physician Outreach department whose function centers around building volumes for the health system, developing relationships with providers and promoting UAB Health system services.
- Develops departmental goals and objectives that align with those of the UAB Health System and its operating units. Develops policies and procedures that conform with all applicable internal and external standards and regulations. Directs departmental communication, documentation, confidentiality and risk management standards.
- Supervises the administration of all staff and resources for the department. Makes staff selections, schedules staff and assigns workload, evaluates performance, disciplines and terminates staff as needed.
- Develops and implements departmental budget. Conducts monthly budget review and reconciles financial statements.
- Facilitates development of an effective internal marketing communication plans to promote physicians, services and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
