7-Eleven is hiring a Director of Organizational Effectiveness to join our HR leadership team! This role drives organizational performance by aligning structure, talent, culture, and ways of working with business strategy. This leader partners with executives and HR to enhance organizational capability, lead transformation initiatives, improve workforce effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture. The role leverages expertise in organizational design, change management, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and analytics to support sustainable growth and business results.

This role is 100% onsite based in our Irving, Tx headquarters. 

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Design & Workforce Strategy

  • Drive organizational design initiatives that align structure, roles, and capabilities with business objectives.

  • Evaluate operating models, decision rights, spans and layers, and workforce effectiveness, recommending improvements as needed.

  • Develop workforce planning strategies that address current and future talent needs.

  • Support organizational restructures, integrations, acquisitions, and other large-scale changes.

Change Management & Transformation

  • Develop and execute change management strategies that enable successful transformation and adoption.

  • Partner with leaders to identify risks, remove barriers, and build change leadership capability across the organization.

  • Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, collaboration, accountability, and agility.

  • Align leadership behaviors and employee experiences with organizational values and strategic priorities.

Organizational Analytics & Consulting

  • Use workforce, engagement, and business performance data to assess organizational health and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Establish effectiveness metrics and dashboards to measure impact and guide decision-making.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organization, culture, and performance-related challenges.

  • Facilitate strategic planning, leadership team effectiveness, and organizational alignment initiatives.

  • Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, collaboration, accountability, and agility.

  • Align leadership behaviors and employee experiences with organizational values and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational development, talent management, HR consulting, or related disciplines.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Proven success leading large-scale organizational transformation and change initiatives.

  • Experience consulting with senior executives and influencing complex stakeholder groups.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting multiple business functions in large, matrixed organizations.

  • Experience with organizational assessment methodologies, talent analytics, workforce planning, and leadership assessment tools.

  • Consulting experience in a management consulting or organizational development environment preferred.
