Airport Location: Corporate-Growth Region
Advertised Compensation: $127,600.00 to $159,500.00
Purpose: The Director of Operations Performance provides direction and assigns appropriate resources to work with both corporate, field, and regional management to accurately evaluate business/financial risks and returns of potentially new business opportunities, to identify and develop sales and cost savings, and to determine where there can be efficiency gains in Operations.
Essential Functions:
• Sets strategic direction for evaluating the cost and benefit of existing controls; provides support to operational teams by developing new procedures and assuring compliance with all corporate policies
• Ensures that Duty Free, Duty Paid, and F&B Operations are in compliance with the operational and financial policies, as well as for the ongoing improvement of facilities, operations, productivity, and effectiveness both individually and collectively
• Provides leadership on internal control matters and directs efforts to maintain appropriate internal control standards including training to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements
• Coordinates the budget and forecast process, including review and validation
• Supports short-term and long-term regional strategies designed to deliver on key financial metrics; partners with branch management and other peers to identify income and expense opportunities and implement solutions
• Prepares business analysis, reports and presentations, including developing financial bridges; provides strong fact-based due diligence analysis as a company functional lead in support of new business opportunities
• Serves as the management liaison to Operations leadership; effectively communicates and presents critical business/financial matters maintaining continuous lines of communication
• Contributes to the development of field finance strategic goals and objectives, as well as the overall management of the organization
• Provides input for company-wide period exception reports with a summary of key performance indicators for senior management
• Oversees the period closing process with Operations and ensures that branch and enterprise results are reported accurately to guarantee the integrity of the financial results
• Reviews P&L's/KPIs/OKRs with Operations in conjunction with corporate/regional/functional team and develops improvement plans for Sales, Cost, and Labor Optimization to attain budgeted and forecasted targets; ensures that Field Finance is adhering to the strategic plan, delivering status reports to local and area Operations leadership
Reporting Relationship: The Director of Operations Performance reports to the Senior Director of Operations Performance

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
• Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 8 years:
o In a leadership role: Requires 3 years of experience leading a team of professionals engaged in developing and executing operational or financial analysis programs
o In a technical role: Requires 8 years of operations or finance experience engaged in developing and delivering operational or financial analysis programs
o A bachelor's degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 3 of the eight-year requirement
• An MBA or a master's level degree in a program related to the functional area can count for an additional 2 years of the eight-year requirement
o In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
• Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits:
o Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools (i.e. PowerBI) and business acumen to understand financial modeling (NPV, IRR, cost/benefit, trend and variance analysis)
o Requires ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments and with external partners including Joint Ventures, sub-tenants, landlords and vendors
o Requires experience interpreting and commenting on contractual agreements
o Advanced business acumen and also has the strategic mindset required to understand the long-term implications of financial analysis decisions and to advance the organization's goals
o Demonstrated history of anticipating the needs of the business and complex stakeholders
o Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teams to achieve common goals
o Demonstrated experience exhibiting a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to optimize work processes and achieve positive results
• Location/Travel:
o This position may be based at our North America Support Center in Bethesda, Maryland, or East Rutherford, New Jersey, or at one of our airport locations
o This position requires up to 25% travel
