Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director Oncology will drive operational excellence for Memorial's oncology service line, specifically ensuring delivery of high quality, patient centered oncology care through program development under the direction of the CEO and the Regional Director of Oncology. The Director of Oncology will serve as a Savannah regional leader for executing mid and long-range strategic initiatives to optimize operational performance while managing operational short-range planning and execution related to disease site performance, marketing, and compliance. The Director will assist with the development of strategic imperatives, execute the coordination of various operational initiatives and tactical plans, tracking operational performance against key performance indicators (metrics). The Director will ensure operational support to departments involved in the strategic implementation of Oncology programs, mentoring colleagues to ensure optimum team performance.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years healthcare operations management experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity required
  • Clinical of business certification or degree preferred
