Job Description

The Director of Supply Chain is a key member of the executive team responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process within the company. The Director of Supply Chain will develop and implement supply chain strategies, manage various departments, and ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Build and execute long-term supply chain strategies, ensuring supply chain performance improves year-on-year to support Company goals.
  • Drive supplier performance improvements (quality, delivery, responsiveness) using scorecards, assessments, and corrective action plans; build grow/maintain/exit strategies for critical suppliers.
  • Own key supplier negotiations and execute long-term agreements with appropriate commercial terms and flow-down requirements.
  • Implement scalable supply chain processes and tools (e.g., S&OP/MRP discipline, consignment/SMI, Kanban) to improve availability and working capital.
  • Ensure that the Company has a production plan which supports all customer delivery requirements/expectations and is executable by the Company and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all materials to execute the plan are delivered on-time with high quality by suppliers, while meeting all customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the supply base while meeting all export control requirements for commercial and defense products.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand and deliver to customers on-time while achieving Company cash flow goals.
  • Ensure that materials are received into the company appropriately and in a timely manner to support the plan.
  • Improve supply chain performance through key performance metrics by tracking and executing improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including receiving, packaging, shipping, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.


Qualifications

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex supply chain information clearly.

What You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CPIM are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


Additional Information

Hiring Range: $180,000-$215,000 annually plus bonus

Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, relevant qualifications, and internal equity.
