The Director of Substance Use Services will be responsible for overseeing all Outpatient and Residential substance use treatment programs. The Director of Substance Use Services will be critical in providing comprehensive, effective treatment and support to individuals dealing with substance abuse issues. This position requires a strong commitment to helping individuals in recovery and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism within our programs. The primary goal for the Director of Substance Use Services will be to ensure continuity of care between our SUD services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement substance abuse treatment programs and services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Create and update program policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of counselors, therapists, and support staff.
- Provide ongoing supervision and support to staff, including regular performance evaluations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to counseling staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and program documentation.
- Oversee the intake process and assess client eligibility for services.
- Address client concerns and complaints and ensure a high standard of care.
Qualifications:- Licensure/Certification: LCSW or LMHC. MCAP is preferred.
- Experience: Substantial experience in the field of substance abuse treatment and counseling, including supervisory or management experience, is required.
- Knowledge: A thorough understanding of substance abuse treatment approaches, counseling techniques, and addiction recovery is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Organizational and Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage program operations and personnel.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to address complex clinical and administrative challenges is crucial.
