Description

We're looking for an all-star Director of Sales to help lead our sales efforts and drive continued growth at Hampton Inn Overland Park. This role will focus on building strong client relationships, generating new business, managing group sales, and helping the hotel achieve its revenue goals.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, a strong communicator, and someone who takes ownership of their work. We are looking for a team player who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and working closely with hotel leadership and the front desk team to ensure every group and client has a smooth experience from booking through arrival.

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, businesses, sports teams, and group contacts.
• Create sales reports to track activity, production, and progress toward goals.
• Attend sales, revenue, and management meetings as needed.
• Assist with rate updates based on demand, occupancy, and hotel goals.
• Manage group blocks, rooming lists, billing instructions, and group master accounts in the PMS.
• Ensure group reservations are entered correctly according to the contract.
• Communicate group details to the Front Desk team to help ensure a smooth arrival.
• Follow up with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Support sales strategies that help the hotel meet its revenue goals.

Qualifications
