Full Job Description
Director of Sales

This is not a position for someone who wants to manage sales from behind a desk. We're looking for a leader who enjoys developing people, digging into the numbers, building relationships, creating accountability, and getting involved when there is an important opportunity to win. You'll lead the team and the strategy while remaining connected to our customers, our markets, and the day-to-day realities of selling services that our Operations teams need to deliver.

If you know how to build a strong sales culture, coach people to better performance, and turn opportunities into sustainable revenue, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

As our Director of Sales, you'll have ownership of the performance and development of Braman's sales function. You will:
  • Lead and develop the sales team, setting clear goals, expectations, priorities, and performance standards.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for new business, existing customer growth, service expansion, upgrades, and market development.
  • Manage performance with purpose, using sales activity, pipeline, forecasts, metrics, and results to recognize success and address gaps.
  • Coach in the real world, through regular one-on-ones, field observations, feedback, training, and hands-on development.
  • Stay involved in the sale, particularly with key accounts, significant opportunities, complex proposals, negotiations, and closing strategies.
  • Build relationships with key customers, referral sources, business partners, and strategic contacts.
  • Own the sales pipeline and process, ensuring opportunities are documented, followed up on, and moved forward effectively.
  • Use data to drive decisions, developing meaningful sales reports, forecasts, metrics, and recommendations for company leadership.
  • Manage commission administration, ensuring commissions are accurate, supported, and submitted to Payroll on time.
  • Partner across the business with Operations, Customer Service, Routing, Marketing, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, and company leadership.
  • Keep sales grounded in operational reality, ensuring pricing, proposals, and customer commitments make sense for both the customer and Braman.

The Leader We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can balance sales drive with strong leadership and sound business judgment.

You know that leading a successful sales team means more than setting a revenue target. It means setting expectations, creating consistency, coaching people, holding them accountable, recognizing strong performance, and stepping in when something isn't working.

You should be comfortable moving between the big picture and the details. One day you may be discussing sales strategy and forecasts with leadership; the next you may be coaching a salesperson in the field, working through a major proposal, or helping close an important account.

Most importantly, you should be someone who can build credibility with both a sales team and the operational teams responsible for delivering what we sell.

What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, sales management, or a related leadership role
  • A proven ability to achieve sales and revenue objectives
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, developing, and managing sales professionals
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to use sales activity, pipeline data, metrics, and forecasts to manage performance
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required pest control licenses and certifications
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours when business needs require it

Even Better If You Have:
  • Experience in pest control, home services, construction, or another service-based industry
  • Experience leading sales across multiple locations or markets
  • Experience with CRM, sales tracking, and reporting systems; PestPac experience is a plus
  • Experience developing sales processes, performance metrics, or incentive programs
  • Experience managing key accounts and complex sales opportunities

Don't come directly from pest control? Don't count yourself out. Strong sales leadership translates across industries, and experience in home services, construction, trades, facilities services, or another service-driven business may be an excellent fit.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
