A day in the life

A day in the life of a Director of Sales and Marketing Technology centers on aligning Salesforce and the broader marketing tech stack with the company's sales and marketing goals. The day often begins with reviewing Salesforce updates, evaluating new features, and shaping strategy to ensure the platform supports lead management, reporting, and customer engagement. From there, the director may oversee configuration and integrations, work with administrators and developers, and coordinate with the SVP of Marketing and CTO to prioritize and advance technology projects. Much of the day involves managing tools that support email marketing, AI-driven insights, and online chat, ensuring each system is optimized and fully connected to Salesforce. The director also reviews data practices, analyzes performance metrics, and collaborates with vendors to keep platforms running smoothly. Training and support remain ongoing responsibilities, helping sales and marketing teams adopt new features and use technology effectively. Leading a team across Salesforce, email, AI, and chat functions, the director fosters collaboration, guides development, and ensures technology decisions drive measurable results-all while upholding Stanley Martin's Mission, Vision, and Values.

This position pays between $149,200.00 to $166,500.00 annually plus bonus.
