Ronnoco Beverage Solutions is looking for an experienced Director of Quality & Food Safety to lead quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and warehousing operations.
This is an opportunity to take your quality experience beyond a single production floor. You'll help set the standards that protect our products, our customers, and the consistency consumers expect from every cup.
What You'll Lead
Coffee & Beverage Quality
Oversee quality standards across coffee, tea, and beverage products, from specifications and testing to packaging, labeling, warehousing, and customer requirements. The role works with product evaluation that includes the taste and aroma of coffee, tea, and beverage products.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Lead programs and audits involving SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, Kosher, Organic, and applicable health department requirements, while strengthening consistent food safety and sanitation standards across operations.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
Use quality data, performance trends, operating practices, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and build stronger, more consistent quality systems across company locations.
Customer & Product Quality
Own product specifications, quality alerts, customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality issues involving packaging, labeling, order picking, and hand-packing.
Product Holds & Rework
Partner with the Green Bean buyer on product holds and rework while directing the disposition of overage and damaged product.
Quality Leadership & Training
Work alongside operations and cross-functional teams to develop clear, practical quality processes. You'll also oversee employees performing laboratory and quality testing and help identify and deliver quality-related training.
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3-5 years of quality and regulatory experience in food manufacturing
• Experience supporting quality programs across multiple locations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to spot trends in data and turn findings into action
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains or a similar ERP
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Not a Desk-Only Quality Role
You'll be where the product is.
The position blends office-based leadership with hands-on time in production, warehouses, laboratories, and receiving areas, including environments associated with roasting and processing. Travel of up to 25% to company facilities, co-manufacturers, suppliers, and customer sites is expected.
