Job Requisition: DIREC001948 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hour/week Hiring range: Starting at $130,000.00 salaried
Responsibilities:
Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.
Accountable for department staffing and capacity
Oversees the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).
Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct
Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.
Implements specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.
Participates in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implements and monitors compliance with revenue integrity processes.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required. Master's degree preferred.
