Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Days
Hours Per Week: 40 hour/week

Hiring range: Starting at $130,000.00 salaried

Responsibilities:
  • Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.
  • Accountable for department staffing and capacity
  • Oversees the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).
  • Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct
  • Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.
  • Implements specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.
  • Participates in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implements and monitors compliance with revenue integrity processes.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required. Master's degree preferred.
