Salary: $90,000-$100,000Job SummaryLevy with University of Oklahoma Athletics is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Operations for Performance Dining. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the student-athlete experience by overseeing all athletic dining operations, training table, and fueling stations. The Director will partner closely with sports dietitians, athletics administration, and operations staff to deliver high-quality nutrition programs that support athlete health, recovery, and peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all athletic dining operations and functions for student-athletes, including training table and fueling stations.
- Collaborate with sports dietitians and performance staff to ensure menus and fueling options align with performance nutrition goals.
- Oversee food quality, safety, compliance, and service standards across all operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop dining services staff to ensure a culture of excellence and service.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to provide cost-effective, high-quality training tables, fueling solutions and dining hall.
- Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, dining services, and campus partners.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Service, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of leadership experience in collegiate athletics, performance nutrition, or large-scale banquet or catering operations.
- Strong knowledge of performance nutrition and athlete fueling strategies.
- Strong understanding of allergen safety protocols and cross-contamination prevention
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- ServSafe certification.
- Food Handlers License (or willingness to achieve) in the State of Oklahoma
