What You'll DoAs the Director of Nursing, you will serve as the clinical leader for the community, guiding the nursing team in delivering outstanding care while maintaining compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:Providing leadership, mentorship, and development to the nursing team.
Driving a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
Leading quality improvement initiatives that support strong clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
Partnering closely with interdisciplinary team members, residents, families, and operational leaders.
Promoting and living The Touchstone Experience through every interaction and decision.
Creating an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a servant leader who combines strong clinical expertise with a genuine passion for people.Qualifications- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in a post-acute or long-term care setting.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey processes, and quality initiatives.
- Proven experience improving clinical outcomes and supporting CMS Five-Star performance.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future nursing leaders.
