Your Role as Director of Nursing!
As a key member of the Sunrise leadership team, you will oversee nursing operations and support the facility's mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care. Responsibilities Include:
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Oversee patient records and maintain confidentiality standards
Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Assist with care planning and resident assessments
Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management programs
Train and onboard nursing staff while supporting ongoing education
Conduct daily rounds and monitor quality of care and staff performance
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Promote a positive, patient-centered culture throughout the facility
Who We're Looking For:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Previous nursing leadership experience preferred, especially in long-term care or skilled nursing
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical best practices
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented leadership style
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
