Your Role as Director of Nursing!As a key member of the Sunrise leadership team, you will oversee nursing operations and support the facility's mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Responsibilities Include:- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee patient records and maintain confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with care planning and resident assessments
- Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management programs
- Train and onboard nursing staff while supporting ongoing education
- Conduct daily rounds and monitor quality of care and staff performance
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Promote a positive, patient-centered culture throughout the facility
Who We're Looking For:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Previous nursing leadership experience preferred, especially in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical best practices
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented leadership style
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for delivering genuine hometown care and supporting staff development
