Job Description
The LTC Director of Nursing is responsible for the nursing/administrative services provided in the Koronis Manor Care Center - a 50 bed skilled nursing facility - and works closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure success in the areas of responsibility. This position is responsible for comprehensive leadership functions in the nursing component of the Care Center, ensuring that operations are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization, and is directly responsible for the performance - financial, service, quality, and human resources of the facility. This position also acts of behalf of the Senior Services Director when requested. Must ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and establish expectations, and then hold staff accountable to achieve expected results.
Qualifications
Must have current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota
Bachelor's Degree required - Master's Degree preferred
5+ years progressive administrative/leadership experience in long-term care
3-5 years supervisory experience of exempt/non-exempt staff
Strong nursing and administrative skills as well as planning, scheduling, financial management, problem-solving, program developement, and human resource management skills
