Director of Nursing

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• 5-7 years of skilled nursing leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of surveys, care plans, and quality metrics
• Proven ability to develop and mentor nursing staff and CNAs
• Experience in holding team members accountable while fostering a positive culture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to maintain a sense of humor in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure quality care delivery
• Support and develop clinical teams, including Unit Managers
• Maintain survey readiness and compliance with healthcare standards
• Drive initiatives to improve patient care and staff performance
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture
• Address and resolve operational challenges promptly
• Lead by example, engaging with staff on the floor
