Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Rockford, IL

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at a busy skilled nursing facility in the Rockford, Illinois area.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing nursing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving clinical outcomes, and supporting a culture of excellence in resident care.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all nursing department operations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and retention initiatives
• Monitor clinical quality indicators and survey readiness
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes
