Director of Nursing RN to lead Clinical Operations and drive the continued growth of our high-performing Home Care Agency. Serving Schaumburg, Park Ridge and Kane County, we are looking for a strategic and compassionate leader dedicated to elevating clinical standards, optimizing clinical efficiency, and empowering our care teams to deliver exceptional service. What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, quality, and compassionate care.
  • Directly manage our RN Case Manager (s) to effectively balance caseloads and maximize productivity.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support clinicians and unlicensed field staff to ensure safe, evidence-based, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients, families, and staff on clinical and health-related needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to State, Federal, Brand, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Initiate continuous quality improvement projects to enhance outcomes, elevate client experiences, and reinforce excellence in care delivery.

Strategic Leadership & Operations
  • Partner with ownership and leadership team to define and execute strategic goals, driving clinical excellence.
  • Collaborate with Sales, HR, and Operations team to ensure seamless onboarding, scheduling and staffing of clinical staff and clients, aligning every step with BrightStar Care's core values, mission and standards of excellence.
  • Leverage data and feedback to drive performance, optimize client experience, and strengthen team engagement.
  • Maintain and uphold current policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Joint Commission standards, including chart audits and other quality assurance measures.

Clinical Case Management
  • Maintain a modest and strategic caseload to ensure continued visibility, active engagement, and mentorship within the clinical team.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing client assessments, develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans for both skilled and non-skilled cases.
  • Provide hands-on clinical care/support as needed, including wound care, IV therapy, medication management, and occasional field coverage.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for clients and clinical staff, promoting continuity of care.

What We're Looking For
  • Active RN license in the State of Illinois
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in management or supervisory roles (home care, home health, geriatric experience Infusion strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, oversee clinical operations, and ensure compliance with clinical regulatory standards
