Full Job Description
Director of Nursing (DON)

As the Director of Nursing, you will work collaboratively with the Administrator, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing staff to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes while cultivating a positive, supportive environment for both residents and employees.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Overseeing daily clinical operations of the nursing department
  • Supervising and supporting nursing leadership and nursing staff
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Promoting quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
  • Collaborating with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to improve resident services
  • Monitoring clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance
  • Supporting recruitment, orientation, education, and retention of nursing staff
  • Maintaining survey readiness and participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Addressing clinical concerns and implementing corrective action plans when appropriate
  • Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care


What We're Looking For:
