Director of Nursing (DON)As the Director of Nursing, you will work collaboratively with the Administrator, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing staff to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes while cultivating a positive, supportive environment for both residents and employees.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Overseeing daily clinical operations of the nursing department
- Supervising and supporting nursing leadership and nursing staff
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Promoting quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
- Collaborating with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to improve resident services
- Monitoring clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance
- Supporting recruitment, orientation, education, and retention of nursing staff
- Maintaining survey readiness and participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Addressing clinical concerns and implementing corrective action plans when appropriate
- Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
What We're Looking For:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor, develop, and support nursing teams
- Commitment to resident-centered care and clinical excellence
- Ability to meet standard health and background requirements
