Director of Managed Care Contracting , Managed Care, Full-Time, Baptist Jacksonville

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Managed Care Negotiations including but not limited to managed care contract reimbursement rates, structure, language, terms, and claims settlements in accordance with goals established by the Vice President of Payor Strategy. Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the services provided by this department. Director advises the VP of enhancements to contract language and structure to reduce compliance issues and improve net revenue. Leads the execution and maintenance of contract documents and the load of the executed contracts into the contract adjudication systems, communication and education of contract terms and conditions to appropriate parties throughout health system, resolution of payor payment and performance terms and completion of managed care provider credentialing. This role is responsible for onboarding and training team members in payer strategy and negotiations and developing a sustainable team. Serves in a leadership capacity supporting the Mission and Vison of Baptist Health System. Primary Location: Remote - Florida
