Director of HR to join our team!
Director of HR Role OverviewThis job exists to ensure Corporate HR initiatives are driven to support the overall business strategy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Provides advice and counsel to management on HR issues.
- Provides interpretation of policies & procedures to management and employees.
- Handles various employee relations issues.
- Provides administration and education on PBV benefits and compensation programs.
- Partners with management on organization structure, succession planning and employee development.
- Conducts new hire orientation and training and development needs assessment for employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and at least 5 years HR generalist experience.
- Food and Beverage industry experience and DSD experience desired. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
- Able to work as a team member, work well under stress, and handle multiple priorities.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with all management staff, employees, and the general public.
- Must be able to present facts and recommendations in oral and written form.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete required tasks.
