Director of Health Services (DHS), RN to lead our Health Services team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents while developing and supporting the people who provide their care.
In this role, you'll oversee resident care across Assisted Living and Memory Care, guide clinical practices, and help ensure our community delivers safe, thoughtful, person-centered care. We're looking for a nurse who leads with sound judgment, builds strong relationships, and is committed to doing the right thing for residents and team members.
What You'll Do- Lead Resident Care: Oversee health services for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care, ensuring care is individualized, responsive, and consistent with each resident's needs.
- Provide Clinical Oversight: Conduct resident assessments, oversee RN delegation, and guide the implementation of physician orders and nursing care.
- Develop the Team: Train, coach, and support Health Services employees, building confidence, accountability, and clinical knowledge.
- Monitor Resident Well-Being: Review clinical documentation, alert charting, incident reports, laboratory results, and pharmacy recommendations to identify concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Coordinate Care: Partner with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and other care team members to support continuity of care.
- Support Service Planning: Ensure resident service plans address health needs and are updated as needs change.
- Ensure Compliance: Guide clinical practices in accordance with Oregon regulations, applicable nursing standards, and community policies.
What You'll Bring- Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong clinical judgment and professional maturity.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Leadership skills and the ability to coach, develop, and support a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Proficiency with computer systems and related software.
- A genuine appreciation for older adults and respect for the important work of caregivers and Med Techs.
- A commitment to quality, accountability, and doing the right thing.
