Full Job Description
We are seeking an executive-level Director of Global Supply Chain - PCBA Supply Planning to lead material planning, supply-demand matching, and allocation strategies for our core Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) business unit.

This role focuses entirely on supply orchestration, master scheduling, and inventory health. You will translate highly volatile hyperscale customer forecasts into executable production and material plans. You will own the global allocation strategies for high-demand components (silicon, custom ASICs, memory, passives) and lead a high-performing team of supply planners and material managers to ensure unconstrained factory builds.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

1. Demand Translation & Supply Readiness Execution
• S&OP Optimization: Lead the Supply Planning side of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, transforming 12-to-18-month customer forecasts into comprehensive multi-tier supply readiness roadmaps.
• Capacity Constraint Modeling: Build and run advanced scenario-planning models to identify global factory bottlenecks, testing equipment constraints, and supplier capacity limits before they impact delivery.
• Component Pipeline Validation: Ensure component supply pipelines are mathematically and logistically capable of supporting sudden, aggressive changes in customer demand spikes.

2. Continuity of Supply & Allocation Management
• Clear-To-Build (CTB) Architecture: Own and optimize the global PCBA Clear-to-Build tracking framework, ensuring real-time visibility into parts readiness across multiple assembly sites while maintaining and achieving strategic KPI's
• Shortage Mitigation & Escalation: Act as the ultimate escalation point for component shortages, designing immediate workarounds, alternative part uses, or re-allocation strategies during global material crunches.
• Strategic Buffer Stocking: Establish data-driven inventory buffer targets and raw material staging strategies with key component foundries to insulate production lines from transit or factory delays.

3. Material Health & Financial Liability Control
• E&O Liability Management: Champion inventory health metrics, running rigorous processes to monitor and mitigate Excess and Obsolescence (E&O) and aging material exposure.
• NPI to Mass Production Hand-off: Manage the strict planning transition of material pipelines from New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering builds to mature, steady-state High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Supplier Planning Synchronization: Direct regular operational reviews with global component manufacturers and silicon vendors to audit their lead times, factory yields, and shipment linearities.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive electronics hardware supply planning or material management experience, with at least 5+ years leading high-scale technical planning or demand-supply matching teams.
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of multi-layer PCBA material lifecycles, semiconductor/silicon planning cycles, global logistics lead times, and bill of materials (BOM) explosion processes.

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:
• Hyperscale Ecosystem Background: Direct experience leading supply planning or materials operations for cloud service providers, large-scale web companies, or enterprise server infrastructure manufacturers.
• Advanced Data & Systems Fluency: Expert-level mastery of high-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) architectures and advanced Excel. Experience using data analytics (SQL, Tableau, Python) to automate planning models and track material pipeline readiness is highly preferred.
• Operational Leadership: Proven track record of scaling supply planning organizations, modernizing legacy spreadsheet planning models into system-driven automated workflows, and communicating material readiness risks directly to executive leadership.
