A day in the life:

As the Director of Global Benefits, you won't just be managing plans; you will be an architect of the employee experience for the 'Monster Family' operating across 83 markets worldwide. We are looking for a visionary leader to modernize our global benefits strategy, ensuring our programs are as innovative and impactful as the brand itself.

Reporting to the SVP of Total Rewards & Payroll, your mission is to establish a global benefits program that balances our entrepreneurial spirit with the financial discipline of an industry leader, building systems that bring structure without sacrificing agility
The impact you'll make:

Strategy and Design
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive global benefits strategy that balances corporate-wide standards with localized regional needs to ensure market competitiveness, cost efficiencies, and cultural relevance across all 83+ international markets
  • Benchmarking across international regions to ensure internal and external competitiveness, and recommending changes to areas such as vacation, car allowance, deferred compensation, and fuel reimbursement.
  • Ensuring benefit strategies support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement goals.

Operational and Financial Management
  • Developing and managing the annual benefits budget, monitoring administrative costs, and recommending cost-efficient alternatives.
  • Analyzing cost trends and plan performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Leading contract negotiations with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
  • Overseeing the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for selecting new vendors. Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Compliance and Administration
  • Establishing a robust global governance structure for benefits, ensuring all international programs align with overarching business goals, support talent mobility, and meet diverse local regulatory mandates
  • Staying current with updates to legal requirements across our international markets
  • Serving as a high-level resource for escalated employee inquiries and complex case resolution.
  • Overseeing the administration of all leaves, including Family and Medical Leave, Workers Compensation Leave, Sick Leave Pool, and Short- and Long-Term Disability.
  • Preparing and submitting all government-mandated benefit-related reports.

Communication & Team Leadership
  • Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to educate employees on benefits offerings.
  • Overseeing the strategic planning and execution of the annual Open Enrollment process, including renewal strategy and educational materials.
  • Coaching, developing, and inspiring a diverse, high-performing global team of benefits professionals.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR Operations, and Regional HR leaders to drive alignment and execution excellence.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or relevant certification (CEBS, GBA, CBP, etc.) preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Benefits experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience managing benefits programs across diverse international regions, demonstrating cultural competence and an understanding of varying local regulations
  • Demonstrated vendor negotiation and management skills
  • Proven ability to think strategically and align benefits programs with overall business objectives and talent management goals
  • Internal customer focus, along with a desire to learn all aspects of the business
  • Financial acumen, including experience with benefits budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Proficiency in benefits data analysis and reporting to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.

$153,750-$205,000 USD
