Qualifications- Previous Food Service Director experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident dietary needs and physician orders.
- Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and department budget.
- Ensure kitchen sanitation and food safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with Administration and the Registered Dietitian to enhance resident satisfaction.
