Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise Engineering staff and hotel maintenance activities
  • Oversee implementation of preventive maintenance for property equipment
  • Monitor life safety systems and utility functions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Maintain the hotel's physical plant, grounds, and amenities
  • Administer the Engineering department in line with safety and quality standards

Here is what you will be doing each day:

In this role, you will be managing and supervising all of Engineering staff and the maintaining and maintenance of the hotel. You will supervise the implementation of all property equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitoring life safety systems and utilities and administering the department in compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates. Preventive maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc.

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance technician role.
  • EPA Universal Certification - Required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) - Required.
  • Previous hotel maintenance experience - Preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, laundry machinery, and AV/security systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
