Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of experience
• Extensive Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience
• Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
• 5+ years with major orchestration technology (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
• 3+ years experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
• Alignment with Seed Company's Core Values, Mission, and Vision, and strong faith in Jesus Christ

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of DevOps including development, QA, and automation
• Assist team members in building, hosting, and deploying cloud-based applications
• Collaborate to define architecture and optimize performance
• Manage migration of internally-hosted applications to AWS
• Lead evaluation of new technologies and tools
• Act as liaison between DevOps teams, leadership, and vendors
• Foster a culture of learning where it's safe to fail and grow
