ResponsibilitiesThe Defense Mission and Health Solutions team, Benefits, Claims & Integrity Solutions Operating Unit seeks a Director of Data Analytics and Reporting to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) customer delivery and be part of the leadership for CMS Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) initiatives. The successful candidate leads the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise-wide analytics, data visualization, and reporting capabilities. This role oversees teams responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and organizational performance. The director partners closely with business leaders, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and alignment to organizational priorities.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for analytics, business intelligence (BI), and enterprise
- Lead, mentor, and develop analytics professionals, data analysts, BI developers, and reporting
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, KPI frameworks, automated reports, and analytical models.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of data through strong data governance
- Collaborate with executives and business units to understand requirements and deliver insight-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and implement analytics technologies, including data visualization tools, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud platforms.

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
