The Director of Compliance is responsible for managing and operationalizing the organization's
compliance program under the direction of the General Counsel. The Director of Compliance supports
day-to-day compliance operations, including providing compliance guidance, policy and procedure
management, compliance education and training, auditing and monitoring activities, investigation
support, and corrective action development and implementation. The Director of Compliance works
closely with the General Counsel and cross-functional leaders to advance a culture of integrity,
accountability, and regulatory compliance across Eventus WholeHealth's multi-state operations.
Qualifications:
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance
(CHPC), or Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) required, or must be obtained
within 12 months of hire
Minimum 5-7 years of active compliance experience in a formal healthcare compliance role
strongly preferred
Other specialized skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job (e.g. basic accounting principles, computer skills and software, specific healthcare processes, interpersonal, communication, etc.)
Broad knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance requirements applicable to multi-state physician and advanced practice provider services in long-term
care settings
Proficient in policy development and maintenance, regulatory reporting, compliance training, organizational risk mitigation, and documentation of compliance
activities
Skilled in compliance risk assessments, investigations, fraud and abuse prevention, and coordination of corrective action across a multistate organization.
Effective communicator with the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical guidance; committed to high-quality internal customer service, cross-functional collaboration, and ethical conduct
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the ongoing management of the organization's compliance program under the direction of the General Counsel, including policies and procedures, education and training, auditing and monitoring, reporting mechanisms, risk management, investigation support, and corrective action tracking
Monitor regulatory changes and assist in ensuring timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
Conduct and support internal compliance investigations and assist in coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries or audits under the direction of the General Counsel.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies
Serve as a compliance resource for staff across all organizational functions and levels, escalating complex or significant matters to the General Counsel as appropriate
Coordinate with operational, clinical, human resources, finance, revenue cycle, and information technology teams to support organizational compliance objectives and maintain compliance program consistency across states
Assist the General Counsel in preparing compliance reports, summaries, and briefing materials for executive leadership and relevant committees
Review and update compliance training content to ensure accuracy, regulatory currency, and alignment with Eventus WholeHealth's policies, procedures, and operational environment
Coordinate with the General Counsel and, as directed, outside counsel regarding compliance investigations, regulatory inquiries, and corrective action matters.
Maintain the compliance hotline and anonymous reporting processes; track, document, and assist in resolving reported compliance concerns
Oversee compliance auditing and monitoring activities and the development, implementation, and follow-up of corrective action plans.
Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability across the organization
Provide direct leadership and supervision to the Legal and Compliance Coordinator, ensuring completion of compliance program activities, fostering professional development, and maintaining effective support for auditing, monitoring, training, investigations, and reporting functions
Other related duties as assigned

Promptly report any non-compliant conduct and/or practices to Eventus WholeHealth's General Counsel.

policies and procedures to Eventus WholeHealth's General Counsel
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and complete documentation when performing the job duties. Ensure that all Eventus WholeHealth information, data, documentation, and records are always safeguarded and maintained confidentially
Training and Education:
Participate in all assigned training. Complete all assigned training by the deadline for completion
Risk Management and Incident Reporting:
Engage in regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and work proactively with a supervisor and Eventus WholeHealth's General Counsel to mitigate any identified risks. Promptly report any incidents (as defined in the "Incident Report Policy") to the General Counsel
