How you'll make an impact
As Director of Clinical Services, you will help drive clinical excellence throughout the organization by:
Providing strategic clinical leadership
- Overseeing nursing services across CCNH-owned and managed healthcare facilities and senior living programs.
- Developing and implementing clinical strategies that support quality outcomes and operational excellence.
- Partnering with senior leadership on healthcare initiatives, compliance programs, and strategic projects.
Strengthening regulatory compliance
- Conducting routine onsite facility reviews to evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assisting facilities with survey readiness, mock surveys, corrective action plans, and plans of correction.
- Monitoring regulatory changes related to CMS, CDC, OSHA, and long-term care operations and implementing required updates.
Supporting nursing leadership
- Mentoring and supporting Directors of Nursing and Assistant Directors of Nursing.
- Participating in the selection and approval of nursing leadership positions.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and clinical expertise to ensure consistent standards of care.
Driving quality improvement
- Monitoring quality metrics and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Recommending and implementing best practices that enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
- Supporting infection prevention, resident safety, and risk management programs.
Promoting staff development
- Overseeing clinical orientation and educational programs across facilities.
- Supporting leadership development and professional growth opportunities for nursing teams.
- Serving as an interim Director of Nursing when operational needs require.
What you'll bring
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or Compact State licensure.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or related healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PDPM, MDS, and geriatric nursing practices.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PointClickCare (PCC), and electronic clinical documentation systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities.
