OverviewThe Director of Campaign Marketing leads AvidXchange's growth marketing function, owning the strategy and execution of integrated, multi-channel campaigns - email, webinars, events, social, direct mail, and nurture programs - that build repeatable, predictable, and scalable B2B pipeline. This role brings a strategic, account-based marketing (ABM) mindset to campaign design, partnering with Sales, Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations, with KPIs that extend through the funnel to attributable revenue.
The Director of Campaign Marketing leads a team of campaign and demand generation marketing managers and specialists - coaching leaders, developing talent, and driving a culture of accountability and performance. This leader is responsible for scaling the growth marketing engine: building ABM and strategic marketing playbooks and processes, and partnering closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to target and engage priority accounts, in order to improve pipeline quality, velocity, and team effectiveness.
What You'll Do- Build a holistic, account-based approach to revenue marketing, creating campaigns that drive repeatable, predictable, and scalable B2B pipeline results.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of growth/campaign marketing managers and specialists, driving a culture of accountability and performance.
- Serve as a trusted Demand Generation partner to Sales leadership, aligning on joint goals, target account lists, and go-to-market strategy.
- Design and direct execution of campaigns across email, webinars, in-person events, social media, direct mail, and nurture programs to build a healthy pipeline.
- Build and scale account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting named/strategic accounts in partnership with Sales.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate campaign and team performance, and develop best practices to improve processes at scale.
- Partner with Marketing Operations to build reporting and dashboards, continually refining processes to improve overall KPIs.
- Oversee campaign testing, including A/B testing, to improve efficiency and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to produce thought-leadership content for multi-channel campaigns.
- Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, and buyer personas to target strategic segments and accounts, and generate sales-qualified leads.
- Own budget management for the function and report on spend and overspend.
- Report on campaign metrics and conversion rates to senior leadership, translating performance into strategy and investment decisions.
What We're Looking ForRequired- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in revenue/demand generation marketing, with proven success managing multi-faceted marketing programs from planning to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing people managers and individual contributors, with demonstrated ability to coach, build, and scale a team.
- Strong experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution, including target account selection, personalization, and sales alignment.
- Strategic understanding of lead scoring and the marketing funnel (MQL, SQL, etc.), with hands-on experience using Salesforce and Marketo.
- Experience using key marketing reporting tools (Salesforce, Google Analytics) and project management tools (Asana or similar).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate funnel and campaign metrics into strategy and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent writing skills appropriate for demand generation and ABM campaigns (email, web, social, and campaign ads).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present and deliver vision and strategy to senior executives, internally and externally.
- Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships (Sales, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications) and influence business outcomes.
Preferred- Experience within SaaS, fintech, payments, or financial technology organizations.
- Experience with ABM or intent/account-engagement platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, RollWorks).
- Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market B2B sales organizations.
- MBA or advanced degree.
