Are you energized by the challenge of identifying the right opportunities - both the ones that find you and the ones you have to go find yourself?
Do you thrive in a role where curiosity, persistence, and a sharp instinct for fit drive your daily work?
Are you someone who can quickly assess whether a new relationship has the makings of a genuine, long-term partnership - and act decisively on that judgment?
We are seeking a
Director of Business Development who operates at the intersection of inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting. This is a critical, high-impact role at the front of our sales funnel - you are the first voice a potential partner hears, and the one who ensures our team is spending time with the right opportunities. You will be equally comfortable responding to inbound inquiries with speed and discernment as you are proactively building a pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with Twincraft's capabilities and strategic growth goals.
The ideal candidate is a natural connector who can quickly build rapport, ask the right qualifying questions, and move conversations forward with confidence. You are not deterred by a "no" - you understand that effective vetting serves both sides of a conversation. And when the market is quiet, you go looking for it.
What You'll DoInbound Lead Vetting - Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from potential brand partners, qualifying leads based on product fit, volume, timeline, and strategic alignment
- Conduct discovery conversations to assess the opportunity and gather information needed for the broader sales team to engage effectively
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all lead activity, status, and next steps in our CRM
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate fit against Twincraft's current capabilities and capacity
Outbound Prospecting - Research and identify target companies, brands, and contacts aligned with Twincraft's ideal customer profile
- Develop and execute outbound outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, phone, and industry networking
- Build a healthy, qualified pipeline of prospective partners and move them through early funnel stages
- Represent Twincraft at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate new leads and brand awareness
What We're Looking For - A strong communicator - clear, confident, and genuinely curious in conversation
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and outreach sequences simultaneously
- A fast learner who will develop deep fluency in Twincraft's manufacturing capabilities and the contract skincare market
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in an environment where you define your own daily priorities
- Experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role preferred; contract manufacturing or CPG industry experience a plus
- Familiarity with CRM tools and outbound sales technologies a plus
