Maintain current client relationship and identify new areas for new potential clients.
- Contact potential new clients and establish a business relationship through cold calling and face to face meetings.
- Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods.
- Identify market trends and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Terminal Managers to create and implement strategic pricing for local markets.
- Develop a book of business and keep Customer relationships Management (CRM) tool up to date to inform pipeline decision-making and prioritization.
- Successfully grow tonnages for all of Pinnacle's products throughout the network.
- Research the latest needs in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
- Manage new business implementation along with operational team as well other support teams.
- Train junior sales staff to grow sales and meet sales expectations.
- Support operational teams in launching new services and/or products including new destination operations.
