Job Description:Director, Marketing AccelerationThe Marketing Acceleration Director is a senior strategic partner to Marketing leadership, with a broad vantage point across the function and the PNNA business. As part of the PNNA senior leader community, this Associate will sit on the MLT for all business topics. The role brings strategic judgment, constructive challenge, and organizational leadership to translate priorities into action, connect teams, surface risks, and sustain accountability for the function's most important work.
This role offers the opportunity to combine enterprise perspective with hands-on impact. Working at the intersection of strategy, operations, capability acceleration, and organizational effectiveness, the Associate participates directly in senior leadership discussions, bringing perspective and constructive challenge to business priorities and cross-functional trade-offs-and helps turn that perspective into better decisions and stronger execution. As a trusted strategic partner to Marketing leadership, the Associate leads responses to enterprise asks and business exercises, bringing together perspectives across teams, drawing out the implications for the business, developing a clear point of view and recommendation, and representing that perspective in executive presentations and leadership reviews. Rather than owning a single Marketing discipline, the role's leadership scope spans how the function plans, connects, builds capability, and delivers business impact, influencing across teams without relying on direct reporting authority.
What Are We Looking For? - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Substantial, progressive experience in Marketing, Strategy, or related commercial functions within the CPG/FMCG industry, with leadership scope and impact consistent with director-level talent.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional priorities, influencing senior leaders, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving accountability and follow-through without direct reporting authority.
- Strong commercial acumen and an enterprise mindset, with the ability to connect marketing strategy, business priorities, planning processes, organizational effectiveness, operating rhythms, and change management.
- Sound judgment and the confidence to navigate complex business trade-offs, anticipate risks and dependencies, manage competing priorities, and operate independently with discretion.
- Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex business inputs into clear insights, recommendations, and leadership-ready narratives. Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, project leadership, and meeting design skills; able to frame decisions clearly and facilitate productive senior leadership discussions.
- Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach to execution, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.
- Experience orchestrating capability-building efforts through subject-matter experts, including training calendars, learning forums, onboarding moments, and best-practice sharing.
What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities? - Strategic Priority Acceleration - Partner with Marketing leadership to shape the path from strategic intent to execution, translating the function's highest-priority initiatives into clear workplans, decision points, and accountability. Help address strategic requests from global teams and prepare for leadership reviews by framing the business questions, synthesizing cross-functional inputs, and developing insights and recommendations. Shape narratives, develop presentation materials, and present business perspectives and recommendations in partnership with Marketing leadership. Bring an enterprise perspective to business trade-offs and proactively surface risks, dependencies, and opportunities that may affect delivery.
- Organizational Planning & Operating Rhythm - Shape the effectiveness of annual planning cycles, business reviews, leadership forums, and cross-functional decision-making, ensuring the right business questions, choices, and trade-offs receive senior leadership attention. As part of the PNNA senior leader community, sit on the MLT for all business topics, excluding people and talent discussions; contribute insight and constructive challenge, frame decisions, and connect leadership discussions to clear actions and follow-through.
- Capability & Engagement Alignment - Act as an extension of the senior Marketing leader, guiding capability-building and engagement efforts to align with the function's priorities and leadership messaging. Bring Associates together to advance these efforts, providing direction on timing and approach and maintaining momentum, while leaving detailed execution with those delivering the activities.
- Functional Health, Visibility & Continuous Improvement - Create simple visibility tools and routines that help leadership assess priorities, milestones, capability progress, and organizational health. Translate insights into actionable recommendations, identify opportunities to simplify work and improve knowledge sharing, and strengthen integration across Marketing and its cross-functional partners.
