Full Job Description
We're looking for a Group Marketing Director to lead marketing across all three CoCreativ brands.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move comfortably between brand and storytelling, demand generation, creative production, and B2B SaaS marketing. You'll set the strategy, but just as importantly, you'll make sure the work gets done.

The right person understands the creative industry, knows how to build an inbound marketing engine, and can bring together internal teams, agencies, freelancers, technology, and budget to move quickly.

This is not a brand-only role. Success will ultimately be measured by marketing's ability to generate awareness, qualified leads, pipeline, and growth.

This is a hybrid role based in New York, with in-office work in Tribeca Tuesday through Thursday.
What You'll Do
  • Lead marketing strategy and execution across Industrial Color, Smashbox Studios, and Globaledit, balancing the distinct needs and audiences of each business.
  • Own the annual and quarterly marketing plan, calendar, budget, and priorities, with a focus on programs that drive measurable business results.
  • Build and strengthen the inbound and demand generation engine across content, SEO, paid media, email, events, partnerships, webinars, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and business leaders to turn marketing activity into qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Own and continuously improve the marketing technology ecosystem, including lead generation, automation, attribution, reporting, and the handoff from marketing to sales.
  • Shape brand positioning, storytelling, and creative direction across the portfolio while maintaining a distinct voice for each brand.
  • Lead PR, thought leadership, executive visibility, social, content, industry events, and partnerships that keep CoCreativ and its brands visible and relevant.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-market across the portfolio and better connect the clients, prospects, relationships, and communities already engaging with our businesses.
  • Keep the group ahead of changes in AI, creative production, search, and marketing technology, including how AI can improve both our internal marketing workflows and how our brands show up externally.
  • Lead and develop a small marketing team while managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners to expand capacity and keep priority work moving.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including experience leading a marketing function or team.
  • Strong experience in demand generation and inbound marketing, with accountability for pipeline or revenue outcomes.
  • Experience marketing across more than one business model, ideally including B2B SaaS and a creative, agency, production, studio, or service-based business.
  • A strong understanding of the creative industry and the judgment to know what will resonate with brands, agencies, producers, and creative teams.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, editing, and brand instincts, with the ability to turn complicated products or services into compelling, human stories.
  • A highly resourceful, action-oriented approach. You know when to build internally, when to bring in outside expertise, and how to keep work moving without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience partnering closely with senior leadership, Sales, Revenue Operations, and business leaders in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern marketing technology, including Salesforce CRM and marketing automation, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Figma.
  • Experience with tools such as ZoomInfo, email sequencing and automation platforms, CMS/WordPress, paid social platforms, and event or webinar technology.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere, is a plus.
  • Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI-enabled marketing and creative tools. Familiarity with platforms such as Midjourney, Weavy, Flora, Cosmos, or similar emerging tools is a plus.
  • Comfort using marketing analytics to understand what is working, what isn't, and where to invest next.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $155,000 - $170,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors, including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

Our benefits package is designed to support your health, well-being, and time outside of work. It includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, an FSA, paid time off, summer Fridays, and regular office events that bring our teams together. Employees also enjoy a beautiful, inspiring workspace with an open gallery and two outdoor patio decks for working, connecting, and recharging.
