Full Job Description
In this role, you'll lead the global brand marketing organization for two of Meta's highest priority product areas. 1) AI Glasses: Today, our industry leading portfolio of glasses includes Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, Meta Ray-Ban Display, and Meta Glasses. We will continue to introduce new styles and brands with our partner EssilorLuxottica. 2) New Wearable Categories: We believe that AI will enable entirely new categories of devices that help people in new ways. We're working on new devices, form factors, and software experiences which require innovative brand leadership. This leader will join the business at a critical, exciting juncture. Sales and usage are exponentially growing, the brand marketing team has been scaling quickly, and our product portfolio is growing larger and more complex. This role requires not only strong brand marketing vision and leadership, but an unmatched ability to lead a team and establish a culture through a period of change and growth. Collaboration is key, and the successful candidate will excel in establishing strong partnerships with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Design Privacy, Creative, Media, Communications, and other key stakeholders. Given the significant scope of the role, significant growth of the category, and high priority within Meta, the Head of Brand will also be required to build strong relationships within the Global Marketing leadership team.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision: Define and own the global marketing strategy across the full funnel, ensuring it ladders to brand, product, and commercial goals. This includes defining a clear brand strategy across our portfolio and individual product lines, improving our customer-focus, annual marketing strategies, delivering business results across every phase of the marketing funnel, and delivering best in class marketing and campaign work that sets a new bar of excellence across Meta.
• Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and grow a large brand marketing team. This includes creating new ways of working, setting an inspirational vision that drives best-in-class marketing work, and creating a strong culture through a period of significant growth and change.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Product Marketing, Comms, Experiential, Creative Marketing, Retail, Growth, Product, Insights, Sales, and Decision Science teams to enable ever-improving, data-informed, creatively exceptional campaign and evergreen work.
• AI Leadership: Embed AI into team workflows to drive step-change productivity gains and lead the team toward an AI-first operating model.
• Budget Leadership: Responsibly manage, allocate, and continually improve effective utilization of a large marketing budget.

Minimum Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in consumer marketing and/or brand management, with brands and at companies with global scale
• 12+ years of experience with team leadership, cross-functional team leadership, or team management
• Demonstrated track record of managing a multi-product or multi-brand portfolio with distinct brand identities and competing resource demands
• Proven experience developing global strategy and delivering impactful marketing campaigns that balance both data-informed decision making and creative excellence
• Experience building mass-market consumer-centric brands with demonstrated expertise in brand evolution or brand repositioning during periods of significant product or market change
• Proven track record managing significant marketing budgets (100s of millions of dollars) and partnering closely with Finance and Decision Science leadership of effective deployment
• Experience identifying and analyzing complex, long term, critical problems facing the relevant areas of the business and drove solutions for them
• Experience sitting on executive leadership teams, influencing company-level strategy, and presenting to C-suite and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
• Deep experience in the fashion industry, leading complex marketing organizations for global lifestyle brands and/or physical products
• A background in device marketing and/or demonstrated marketing leadership for global technology brands
