What Impact You'll Have: We are seeking a skilled Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead our financial reporting processes, oversee technical accounting matters, and strengthen our internal control environment. This role provides critical leadership across accounting policy, complex transactions, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Own:- Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Develop and oversee the internal control environment over financial reporting
- Conduct technical accounting research and guide complex transactions
- Maintain and update accounting policies aligned with U.S. GAAP
- Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Operations on accounting implications of business activities
- Support audit processes and ensure strong internal controls
What You Must Have:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Clearable U.S. Citizenship required
- CPA required
- 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate reporting
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
- Proven leadership and communication skills
What Would be Nice to Have- Experience in a corporate reporting environment for a large private or public enterprise
- Experience leading complex transactions and implementing new accounting standards
- Strong project management skills

Virginia Pay Range
$160,000-$170,000 USD
