About the Role

The Director of Finance is the key finance leader and primary point of contact for the Healthcare business, working as part of a top-tier finance, accounting, and analytics team. This role owns the budgeting and forecasting cycles for a complex business unit, delivers monthly financial reporting with root-cause analysis, and partners directly with business leaders and senior executives to inform decisions, implement strategies, and drive operational improvements that enhance the Company's performance. This intellectually curious individual will work with high integrity and intensity and will communicate effectively with senior leaders across the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the key finance leader and primary point of contact for the Healthcare business
  • Own the regular budget and forecasting cycles for a highly complex business unit, managing a large number of variable KPIs
  • Oversee preparation of monthly financial reporting and comparison analysis, identifying root causes behind variances
  • Present financial results and analysis to senior executives across the company
  • Lead financial analytics for ad hoc cost-benefit business decisions
  • Support the VP of Finance with special projects, board of directors presentations, and financial strategy
  • Partner directly with business leaders and regularly participate in business decisions


Skills/Abilities:
  • Expert proficiency in Excel; experience building and maintaining complex models
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and the interaction between Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Proficiency in SQL and Cube-based reporting a plus
  • Desire to achieve high personal and team goals
  • Ability to manage and lead in a very fluid and high performing environment
  • Strong work ethic and competitive nature
  • Extremely articulate; strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field)
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of applicable finance and/or accounting experience required

Physical Requirements:
