Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Director for our rapidly growing Finance Transformation and Automation practice.  This dynamic team is a part of our overall Finance Transformation solution focused on “modernizing the office of the CFO.” This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity within the security of a well-established firm. This position will be heavily focused on growth both internally as well as externally with strategic alliance partners, and leading pursuit and delivery teams. As a Director, you will be able to draw from your experience and knowledge to help clients improve their business by providing services such as Accounting and Finance Process Advisory, Solution Architecture, Technology Implementation, Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence.  Additionally, you will be leading a team of consultants involved in all aspects of delivery from strategy to execution, as well as mentorship and leadership of team members. This practice line is exciting, growing and offers tremendous career opportunity.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute growth and go-to-market strategy for practice offerings • Lead and/or participate in all aspects of sales cycles • Serve as a first-choice advisor to key client stakeholders • Lead finance transformation projects, including solution architecture and implementation oversight • Train and advise clients in the leading use of technology solutions to address their specific organizational needs, including strong financial and business acumen and the ability to translate technology functionality to business purpose • Train and mentor staff/project teams • All engagements require process analysis/optimization, documentation, project management skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting and/or performance improvement consulting including experience • Strong leadership skills and executive presence • Consulting or Professional Services firm experience is required with previous pre-sales/sales experience • Artificial intelligence acumen and experience is required • Strong understanding of financial data, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and draw meaningful insights • Understanding and demonstrated experience with working with multiple clients   • Corporate or industry accounting experience is preferred  • Previous experience with operational process reviews and internal control requirements • Strong ability to anticipate and address client concerns, breaking down complex issues into actionable project steps and solutions • Strong communicator who works well with clients and teams, has strong data organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently • Travel expectations 30% or greater Preferred Qualifications: • CPA preferred At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. We offer flexibility in your schedule, empowering you to balance life’s demands, while also maintaining your ability to serve clients. Learn more about our total rewards at .
