Responsibilities

  • Lead the Enterprise Parts Sales function and set strategic direction.

Director, Enterprise Parts Sales

Reports To: Vice President, Enterprise Asset Management

This position can be worked out of any of StandardAero's US facilities. A remote working arrangement within US may also be available for this role.

As Director, Enterprise Parts Sales, you will play a critical leadership role within the Enterprise Asset Management organization, leading the Enterprise Parts Sales function and helping maximize the value of StandardAero's global asset portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Asset Management, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the Enterprise Parts Sales organization, driving profitable growth, optimizing inventory value, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across StandardAero's global aftermarket business.

Partnering closely with Asset Management, Trading, Leasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit leadership, you will lead a high-performing commercial organization that supports StandardAero's long-term growth objectives while advancing operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enterprise collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Enterprise Parts Sales function by establishing strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and developing a high-performing commercial organization.


  • Develop and execute the Enterprise Parts Sales strategy to achieve annual revenue, gross margin, inventory turnover, and profitability objectives.


  • Establish annual business plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and key performance indicators to monitor and improve business performance.


  • Support aircraft and engine acquisition and teardown programs by providing commercial analysis, parts valuation, and disposition strategies to maximize recovery value after teardown.


  • Identify, evaluate, and acquire larger part packages and inventories, taking measured ownership of inventory risk and driving external sales to achieve strong returns and inventory turns.


  • Partner with the Vice President, Enterprise Asset Management to maximize inventory utilization, asset monetization, and enterprise value.


  • Develop pricing strategies, commercial policies, and sales processes that optimize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.


  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, OEMs, distributors, brokers, leasing companies, and other strategic partners while leading complex commercial negotiations.


  • Collaborate with Trading, Leasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit leadership to align inventory strategies with customer demand and operational priorities.


  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and support strategic business decisions.


  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial processes, sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer experience.


  • Ensure compliance with company policies, export regulations, contractual obligations, quality standards, and ethical business practices.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in aerospace aftermarket sales, aviation parts sales, asset management, MRO, OEM, or a related commercial environment.


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading commercial sales organizations with direct responsibility for people leadership, business performance, and financial results.


  • Experience developing and executing commercial strategies, annual operating plans, budgets, and sales forecasts.


  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing executive-level customer relationships.


  • Experience collaborating across commercial, operations, supply chain, and finance organizations to achieve business objectives.


  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 35%.


  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.


Preferred Skills

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.


  • Experience in aviation asset management, aircraft or engine aftermarket parts, inventory optimization, teardown programs, or material distribution.


  • Experience leading enterprise commercial organizations supporting multiple business units or product lines.


  • Knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, and sales analytics.


  • Experience leading organizational transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing commercial performance, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.


  • Excellent executive communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
