The Opportunity:

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Director, Enterprise Applications & Analytics to provide strategic leadership across enterprise business systems, data and analytics, and technology integration initiatives.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise applications and data strategy, overseeing critical platforms across ERP, CRM, HCM, business intelligence, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and other core business functions. You will partner closely with executive and functional leaders to ensure technology investments support business growth, operational excellence, scalability, and informed decision-making.

A key focus of this position will be supporting organizational growth through mergers and acquisitions, leading technology due diligence and post-acquisition integration initiatives including application rationalization, ERP integration, data migration, process harmonization, and system consolidation.

This is an opportunity for a strategic technology leader who can balance enterprise-level vision with execution and enjoys building strong teams, partnering with the business, and driving meaningful transformation across a complex, multi-site organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, data, and analytics in alignment with broader business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, optimization, integration, and ongoing support of enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, HCM, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, collaboration, and business intelligence systems.
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices across application architecture, integrations, security, data, and system lifecycle management.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify the technology landscape, reduce technical debt, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Define and advance the organization's enterprise data and analytics strategy, including reporting, dashboards, data warehousing, business intelligence, and self-service analytics.
  • Partner with business leaders to establish meaningful KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting capabilities that enable better decision-making.
  • Champion strong data governance, quality, stewardship, and consistency across the organization.
  • Lead technology due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, assessing application environments, data assets, infrastructure, and business processes.
  • Develop and execute post-acquisition technology integration strategies and roadmaps, including ERP and application consolidation, data migration, master data harmonization, and process standardization.
  • Identify opportunities to capture synergies, reduce costs, and improve operational performance through successful technology integration.
  • Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives while evaluating emerging technologies and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Manage enterprise technology vendors, software licensing, contracts, service-level agreements, and strategic technology partnerships.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across enterprise applications, integrations, reporting, and analytics.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, resource planning, project portfolios, and prioritization of technology initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to executive leadership and functional stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation and change management initiatives while ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and adoption.
  • Ensure enterprise applications and data environments meet applicable security, privacy, regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience within enterprise applications, business systems, data, analytics, or related technology functions.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise-scale programs or transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading major ERP, CRM, BI, and enterprise application implementations, integrations, or transformations.
  • Proven experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including technology due diligence, application rationalization, data migration, system consolidation, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, private equity-backed, multi-site, or similarly complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, middleware, APIs, and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT technologies, data migration methodologies, data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience with major enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including SaaS application management, application modernization, and cloud migration.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, master data management, and enterprise architecture best practices.
  • Understanding of relevant security, privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements, including SOX, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Strong project portfolio management and organizational change management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives while balancing competing priorities, budgets, timelines, and business requirements.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic, business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate technology investments into measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • PMP, ITIL, Agile, Six Sigma, or other relevant professional certifications are considered an asset.
Compensation Range: $140,000 - $165,000.
