Job Summary and QualificationsPosition Summary:Oversees the day-to-day functions of the Diagnostic Imaging Department to include Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, IR, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Support Services, Transport and CT. Works directly with supervisors on a daily basis in areas including but not limited to: Evaluating/coaching staff; communicating changes in procedures and departmental issues by conducting meetings; written and verbal communication; assessing equipment needs and ensuring all warranties & contracts are current; and, staying abreast in current diagnostic imaging technology and assessing areas for improvement and growth. Under administrative direction of the COO and the Chairman of Diagnostic Imaging, performs administrative and consultative duties as needed for the department, or delegates to supervisors
What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree
- (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
