Full Job Description
BeOne Medicines is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Director of Corporate Affairs Strategy, Analytics & Insights to help drive the evolution of a high-performing, insight-led global Corporate Affairs function.

The Director serves as a key strategic and operational leader within Corporate Affairs, responsible for advancing planning, performance measurement, AI enablement, insights generation, and operational excellence across the global function. The role partners closely with the Head of Global Corporate Affairs Strategy, Analytics & Insights to translate strategy into execution, drive organizational alignment, strengthen decision-making through data and insights, and build scalable capabilities that increase the impact and effectiveness of Corporate Affairs. The Director leads critical enterprise processes, including strategic planning (AOP and LRP), Corporate Affairs performance measurement and reporting, AI roadmap execution, financial governance, and cross-functional transformation initiatives.

Success in this role requires deep Corporate Affairs experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, combined with strategic thinking, operational rigor, analytical expertise, and change leadership. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to Corporate Affairs leadership, helping establish the systems, governance, insights, and capabilities that enable the function to demonstrate impact, improve performance, and support enterprise objectives.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Strategic Planning and Alignment
  • Partner with the Senior Director to lead the annual Corporate Affairs strategic planning process (AOP, LRP), ensuring clear alignment between enterprise goals, functional strategies, and regional plans.
  • Manage and scale the Corporate Affairs Impact Intelligence framework, ensuring consistency across regions and functions.
  • Coordinate the integration of Corporate Affairs goals and deliverables into enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional planning cycles.
  • Manage key milestones and governance touchpoints, ensuring timely decision-making and visibility across leadership teams.


Corporate Affairs AI Enablement
  • Lead execution of the Corporate Affairs AI roadmap, translating strategic priorities into implementation plans, operating models, governance processes, and measurable business outcomes across the global function.
  • Lead the Corporate Affairs AI Task Force, driving cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and execution of initiatives that advance the function from workflow standardization to connected intelligence and AI-enabled decision support.
  • Own the standardization and scaling of AI-enabled workflows, tools, prompts, and best practices across Corporate Affairs to improve efficiency, consistency, quality, and adoption globally.
  • Establish and oversee AI measurement, governance, and performance frameworks, including adoption metrics, compliance standards, business impact assessment, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Build the foundation for predictive and influence-based Corporate Affairs capabilities by driving integration of data, workflows, measurement systems, and feedback loops that enable automated insights, scenario planning, and more proactive decision making.


Insights and Decision
  • Translate complex qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights that inform strategy and elevate performance discussions.
  • Prepare and present insight-driven briefings and reports for Corporate Affairs leadership and senior executives, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional and functional leads to gather intelligence on stakeholder perceptions, emerging issues, and communication effectiveness.
  • Help define and evolve key performance indicators (KPIs) and success measures that link Corporate Affairs activity to business impact.


Enterprise Reporting and Storytelling
  • Support the design and delivery of global Corporate Affairs performance reporting, connecting results and insights to strategic narratives.
  • Establish periodic business reviews, leadership updates, that demonstrate the impact of Corporate Affairs.
  • Manage operational workstream (e.g., communications, performance) of key partners in our LMIC patient access program on behalf of BeOne Medicines.
  • Work closely with Corporate Affairs teams to embed data-driven storytelling into thought leadership and reputation management efforts.


Operational Excellence and Change Enablement
  • Operationalize strategic initiatives, including process improvements, new capability builds, and change adoption across regions.
  • Serve as a key connector across regions and workstreams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistency.


Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Corporate Affairs, Communications, Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, or related experience within the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector, including experience supporting global or multi-regional organizations.
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives, including the application of AI, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve organizational effectiveness, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging AI tools and translate them into scalable capabilities, processes, and ways of working across corporate affairs teams.
  • Proven track record driving adoption of new technologies through governance, change management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Experience designing and leading enterprise measurement frameworks, operating models, strategic planning processes, or organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the external stakeholder, policy, regulatory, and reputational landscape shaping global biopharmaceutical companies.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives, build alignment across highly matrixed organizations, and drive execution through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and contributing to Board-level reporting and strategic discussions.
  • Experience managing operational and financial processes, including annual planning, forecasting, governance, resource allocation, and budget oversight.

Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $229,000.00 annually
BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
